WEEKLY PRAYER SERVICES FOR PARISH MEETING
This book will help parish groups, from parish councils to finance councils, open their meetings in a prayerful, reflective manner. The service sets the tone for more productive meetings, reminding participants that their actions should be guided by the Holy Spirit. They are organized around the readings for each Sunday of the year, allowing those at parish meetings to focus their attention and action on the lectionary (111 pp., $12.95 Weekly Prayer Services/Parish Meetings; $24.95 Book and Disk, DOS; $24.95 Book and Disk, Mac).

PSALM SERVICES FOR PARISH MEETINGS
Written by William Cleary, this contemporary resource will help Christians add a contemplative dimension to ordinary meetings. It answers many needs at once: conventional psalm services for formal times and original psalm meditations for more intimate, informal groups. The service topics touch on aspects of spiritual life, and an index will help readers locate and cross reference psalm services appropriate for their needs (96 pp., $9.95).

PARISH ACTIVITIES HANDBOOK
By Owen Meredith; nine chapters.  Covers all aspects of parish life, including parish councils, administration and stewardship, communications, education and formation, family and parish life activities, social action, worship and spiritual life, and parish missionary activities (1996, 136 pp., $12.95).

TOTAL PARISH MINISTRY
An eight-session video series written and hosted by Father William Bausch. It is a faith-and-fact filled video experience in which Fr. Bausch shares how ministries are formed and kept functioning ($199).
