METHOD OF ASSESSING THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL MISSION PARISHES
Provides method of numerical assessment of a rural mission parish according to 5 theological criteria and employing 27 indicators (102 pp., no charge).
         

REFLECTIVE MINISTRY
Describes planning process designed by Glenmary Research Center for small (300 families or fewer) Catholic parishes; involves clergy and lay leaders in parish self-study, community analysis, goal setting and evaluation; tells how to make arrangements with Glenmary to initiate process (2 pp. no charge).

THE SMALL RURAL PARISH
Middle-range principles applicable to the development of small rural parishes, with a description of the 3 initial stages of development (118 pp., $3.50).

CHURCH PLANNING DATA BOOKLETS FOR DIOCESES
Spiral-bound booklets containing the following basic planning data.

For each county of the diocese: A ten-facts sheet indicating population, racial/ethnic composition, age structure, marital status, educational level, health indicators, and information about housing, occupation, income and religion.

For the diocese as a whole: Composite profile for the urban counties, for the rural counties and for both combined, which contains summary information on the items above. Throughout the booklet, graphs show how each percentage com
pares to the nation as a whole. Printing costs vary from diocese to diocese because of variations in the number of counties.

An enumeration by region, state and county based on data reported by 111 Church bodies (1980, 321 pp.).
