CALLED BY THE SPIRIT, FORMED BY THE WORD
A three-year prayer and formation process developed especially to assist councils to grow in their relationship with the Lord. There are nine sessions in each annual period. Each session begins with a focus statement on an aspect of council ministry which sets the tone for sharing. The prayer and formation portion requires 20 to 30 minutes of the council's meeting time, and includes opening prayer, a scripture reading, silent reflection, sharing and dialogue, and closing prayer. For deeper sharing additional scripture and Vatican II resources are suggested, as well as suggestions for action and discussion questions ($18). |
